Swearing

 Social media companies will have to proactively remove and prevent intimate image abuse including deepfakes from their platforms, or face fines. Government is strengthening the #OnlineSafetyAct to make it a priority offence, as serious as selling weapons and drugs online.


When giving evidence in court you have to swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. When this new law comes out, you won't be able to.
