This is a blog about what is going on in the world. I add links to articles and videos if I think they are appropriate to further learning. You can move on if you are not interested.

What Crisis?

If you want to know what is going on, read about it on the World Economic Forum web site. I follow them on Tweeeeter, none of it is a secret. They tell you what they are going to do.

In order to feed the predicted 2050 global population of 9.1 billion, the agricultural sector will have to produce 70% more food than current levels. A new report from the World Economic Forum's Centre for Fourth Industrial Revolution, in collaboration with PcW outlines how Agritech services can help the world achieve this goal by driving progress in emerging economies.

A link to Agritech.

Agritech services are reshaping the agriculture and food sector by enabling sustainable farm operations and efficient supply chains. This insight report is a sequel to the World Economic Forum’s community paper on Artificial Intelligence for Agriculture Innovation, released in 2021.

The report aims to highlight emerging technologies from a macro agriculture system perspective, from farm planning to consumption, and takes a broader view on the previous paper’s four-point approach – intelligent crop farming, smart farming, farmgate-to-fork and data – to drive the adoption of technology in farming, especially by the most vulnerable smallholder and women farmers.

They want to close down farming as we know it. They want to buy up land. Turn them into solar farms. They want us to stop eating meat. All in the name of climate crisis. Those who control food, controls everything.
