NEW: The Government is offering landlords 5-year rent deals to house asylum seekers

Surely this is going to cause a ton of evictions as landlords all scramble to get that 5 years of guaranteed rent and maintenance

U.K. - Housing illegal migrants in rented accommodation across the uk will reduce affordable rentable property for British people, many of whom already struggle to find places they can afford. I don’t believe the civil service and the government haven’t understood this.
