Waking up.

German MEP Christine Anderson: Unlike many Western Europeans, Eastern Europeans are waking up in huge numbers "because they still remember what it was like to be in a dictatorship". "They recognise the mechanisms, they see the signs... they still know what it felt like to have no rights, to be controlled by the state police... and they recognise the same is happening over again."
