Bargain offer

Why do suppliers & middlemen send flu shots to corporate pharmacies like CVS, Walgreens, and other large corporate entities first, before they will ship to doctors offices? We have always received them first week of September but signs are up elsewhere in mid August.

Sanctuary

Dame Andrea Jenkyns DBE ðŸ‡¬ðŸ‡§
Sanctuary Cities for asylum seekers in Lincolnshire Sanctuary cities across the UK are actively promoting the inclusion of asylum seekers and offering them taxpayer funded support, it has been reported. Initiatives and local organisations, including libraries, theatres or schools, and universities, are being used to make people seeking permission to stay feel more welcome and to create a culture of hospitality. Mental health and wellbeing support is also on offer, as well as social events, language classes, and assistance using technology. These are all over the country, including reportedly being in North Lincolnshire, Louth, and Lincoln. We must ensure that no taxpayers' money is being used to give freebies to migrants and asylum seekers. This creates a pull towards Britain. And we will continue to be soft-touch Britain. I am currently looking into these reports to see how they are impacting our local areas and what it is costing the taxpayer. I will keep you posted. express.co.uk/news/politics/

So-called "sanctuary cities" across the UK are actively promoting the inclusion of asylum seekers and offering them support, it has been reported. Initiatives and local organisations, including libraries, theatres or schools and universities, are being used to make people seeking persmission to stay in Britain feel welcome. Mental health and wellbeing support is also on offer, as well as social events, language classes and assistance using technology.

Wandsworth and Richmond councils in London, for instance, are offering exercise classes. Leisure activities can also be taken up in Birmingham - whose local authority declared itself effectively bankrupt in 2023 - including trampolining and theatre visits. In Cambridge, a new set of community grants is being rolled out to fund lessons for asylum seekers, including arts, cultural projects and gardening. Newcastle City Council is offering employment advice and language classes. Manchester officials work with community organisations to support migrants.
