Joke

We're improving NHS productivity with £3.4bn investment, which could help save £35bn by 2030: ✔️expanding AI use for quicker cancer diagnosis ✔ cutting admin & freeing up capacity ✔ transforming access and services for patients So clinicians can focus on delivering care.

Some comments. . . . .
"We will put all of our admin staff out of work and replace them with AI".

And yet there is no money for doctors or nurses, no extra hospital beds, can’t get to see a GP and operations being cancelled. What’s the betting the contract goes to friends and family.

Faster diagnosis doesn’t help reduce waiting lists for treatment. Replacing trained Drs with untrained Physician Associates and pretending they are doctors doesn’t improve outcomes. Funding private medical services from the NHS budget is accelerating privatisation by stealth.

Waiting times are a joke. I’ve been waiting since august last year just for a consultation yet the nhs app says I should’ve started treatment in January.
